100 Black Men Breathe
The expressive space for Black Men to Breathe.

100 Black Men Breathe is an Artivism Project launched in August 2020 to capture the true stories, expressions, and experiences of 100 Black Men. From the use of photography and intimate coaching, as well as captured audio and scribed stories, Black Men will have the opportunity to share their personal story of navigating their blackness in society. 100 Black Men Breathe has been featured as an exhibit in a local museum and has plans to be featured in numerous museums and community centers across the Dallas area and across the nation. 100 Black Men Breathe hosts the opportunity for Black men to truly Breathe.

Each participant will be asked, "what is one word to describe your experience as a Black Man?" This can be submitted as a photograph, audio clip, or video. The stories shared will be used to amplify the reverence and resilience within Black Men to first connect with one's self, and then connect to other fellow Black Men.

Submitted stories will be compiled and showcased as an educational and empathetic experience of empowering Black Men. To become a participant of this historic opportunity, click below to submit an application.
